TWIN LIGHTS SODA

PROJECT TITLE

A label and crown cork (cap) design for the reissue and rebranding of Twin Lights, one of the currently extinct sodas.

DESCRIPTION

Twin lights is a small American soft drink company based in Rockport, Massachusetts, established in May 1907 by Thomas Wilson. It is named after the twin lighthouses that sit at either end of Thatcher Island. These towers were also erected on a perfect north/south axis, which enabled fishermen to line up the lights to determine true north. The twin lights soon gained the nickname “Ann’s Eyes,” which is interpreted in the label design.
